The man with Alzheimer's who climbs a mountain every day

Alzheimer's sufferer Sion Jair climbs a mountain in the Lake District every day to help him deal with the effects of his condition.

Sion has been suffering with the symptoms of Alzheimers for seven years.

He told 5 live Breakfast's Nicky Campbell how climbing the Old Man of Coniston in the Lake District every day helps him enjoy his life "day-to-day" and cope with the disease.

He's now offering navigation courses to share his knowledge of the region with other ramblers while he's still fit to climb.
