Philip 'the macho man' who had to follow the Queen
How significant a role has the Duke of Edinburgh played as the Queen's consort?
Dr Piers Brendon, a historian at Cambridge University, told 蜜芽传媒 Radio 4's The World at One that the Prince was quite a "macho man" and "should have been in the driving seat" yet he always found himself "a couple of paces behind the Queen".
