Amisha Karsan from the Grand Union Youth Orchestra

When you think of an orchestra you probably think of Western instruments like the violin or the flute, right? Well, Amisha Karsan is bringing an Indian twist to it.... with her sitar! Amisha is from the Grand Union Youth Orchestra and involved with its summer school for young musicians, giving them the chance to explore music from around the world. The 22-year-old performed an original piece called 'Dawn' live in the studio for Qasa.
