Can the US President fire anyone without consquences?
Michael Hayden, former CIA director, on Donald Trump's image since his recent firings
US President Donald Trump has fired the director of the FBI over his handling of the inquiry into Hillary Clinton's emails, according to the administration.
Michael Hayden, former director of the national security agency and CIA, says that while President Trump has every right to dismiss Mr Comey, his "dramatic step" has "sent a chill" down the FBI, and will urge the public to examine his next moves.
