Former Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond has told 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 live that voters should choose the SNP even if they were against Scottish independence.

The SNP candidate for Gordon said his party 鈥淸provided] the voice for Scotland鈥� and were the 鈥渙nly real opposition to the Tory government at Westminster鈥�.

Mr Salmond added that the 2017 general election would not be about Scottish independence:

鈥淭his election cannot decide independence. Independence will be decided by a referendum鈥�, he said.
