Former Premier League assistant referee: A sneeze nearly killed me
A former Premier League assistant referee has told 5 live's Rowan Bridge about the moment a single sneeze caused him to suffer a brain hemorrhage.
John Holbrook, who was assistant referee when Paolo De Canio pushed referee Paul Alcock in 1998, was climbing the stairs on Christmas Day in 2014 when it happened.
He described the 2014 attack, which almost killed him, as like a "thunderclap headache".
