Peanuts Hucko and Louise Tobin
Graham's special guests this week are Peanuts Hucko and Louise Tobin.
More swinging performances from across the years and around the world featuring the finest crooners, songbirds, small groups, big bands, orchestras and instrumentalists.
Also, we’ll be meeting two more witnesses to musical history from Graham’s archive of interviews and this week, a famous musical husband and wife team.
In part one, American clarinettist and bandleader Peanuts Hucko remembers playing with Captain Glenn Miller’s Army-Air Force Orchestra during World War 1.
And in part two, Peanut’s wife Louise Tobin remembers her days singing with the big bands at the height of the Swing Era.
Graham’s musical theme this week is… “Flowers and Trees!â€
