Tory Manifesto: Gove on 'intergenerational fairness'
Theresa May has launched the Conservative manifesto with a promise not to raise income tax or national insurance, to change the way social care would be funded in England and to balance the budget by 2025.
Conservative Michael Gove told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 4's PM that this manifesto shows Theresa May has made "some tough choices" in order to make sure the "budget moves into balance".
In terms of social care, he disagreed that pensioners were being unfairly targeted, but rather a "degree of intergenerational fairness" was being applied.
