Barritt: I played Champions Cup final with fractured hand
Saracens captain Brad Barritt says he played their recent Champions Cup final against Clermont Auvergne with a fractured hand.
The English club won back-to-back European titles after beating the French side 28-17 at Murrayfield.
Barritt said: "I actually came into the game in Edinburgh with a fractured hand,
"Well thankfully, actually, that held up pretty well with a plastic casing but I sustained a small calf strain sort of at the 60-minute mark."
A calf strain sustained in the final meant Barritt did not feature for Saracens in their Premiership semi-final defeat to Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park.
