Reading FC: Joey on the 'very slow' Fulham semi-final
Joey van den Berg admitted it felt like an age before the final whistle against Fuham.
After Kermorgant's 49th minute penalty against Fulham, Reading FC had to deal with a near constant attacking onslaught from the visitors to reach the final.
"Always games like this on the pitch go very slow," van den Berg told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ South's Ben Moore. "The moment we scored the penalty it took a while before the final whistle came.
"We managed to pull it off and I am very proud of our achievement."
And van den Berg reserved special praise for the side's goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi.
"Ali saved us brilliantly, especially in a few moments.
"It is difficult when a team plays full on attack like that, you have to be a bit lucky to play on the counter."
