How Manchester attack eyewitness helped 14-year-old girl
Grandfather Phil describes how he and his family helped an injured 14-year-old victim and reunited her with her family.
Phil from Bradford went to pick up his daughter and granddaughter from the Manchester Arena. He told 5 live Daily:
“She was so brave this young girl.
“She managed to tell me what her home phone number was and I rang her mum so I could, and her mum was in bits on the other end of the phone, but I said: ‘Look, your daughter’s here, she’s been injured but she’s okay and we’re going to stay with her.’"
