Zoo tiger death: Eyewitness describes moments after attack
A zoo-keeper has been killed by a tiger at Hamerton Zoo Park in Cambridgeshire. Dad Pete Davis described the moments after the attack.
Pete was on a day out with his family, he told 5 live Breakfast: “We just heard a scream and one of the girls just shouted ‘run!’ A few of us ran in to one of the small zoo-keepers' rooms by the enclosure and we stood in there until it we were told it was clear to go.â€
“As we came out we were ushered further away but we were still looking at what was going on. You could obviously see the keepers were all distressed.â€
The zoo-keeper has been named as 33-year-old Rosa King.
