Are biometrics secure enough so we can ditch our passwords?
Companies are investing heavily in biometric security so we can use our irises, voices and fingerprints for logging in. But last week Samsung’s iris recognition tool was hacked with nothing more than a photograph of an eye with a contact lense. Earlier this month ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Report Dan Symmonds and his twin brother managed to fool HSBC’s voice recognition system. Ken Munroe is an expert hacker and talks to Winifred Robinson about the security of biometrics.
