Lena Horne and Nat Peck
Graham's special guests this week are Lena Horne and Nat Peck.
More swinging performances from across the years and around the world featuring the finest crooners, songbirds, small groups, big bands, orchestras and instrumentalists.
Also, we’ll be meeting two more witnesses to musical history from Graham’s archive of interviews. In part one, legendary Singer and Actress Lena Horne who was born one hundred years ago on June the 30th, 1917 and in part two, American Trombonist Nat Peck who came to Britain 73 years ago this week as part of Captain Glenn Miller’s American Band Of The A.E.F.; And Graham’s musical theme this week is a celebration of “Summertime!”
