The International Man Booker Prize
Interviews with two shortlisted authors and their translators
The Man Booker International Prize is awarded in the UK for the best novel translated into English in the past year and gives equal recognition to the writer and translator of the winning book who will share a prize of just over $70,000. For the past few weeks, we have been hearing from authors and their translators shortlisted for the prize. This week we have: the Danish writer, Dorthe Nors, talking about her book 'Mirror, Shoulder, Signal', and the French writer, Mathias Enard, on his book 'Compass'.
