Heroic London attack doorman who confronted terrorists
Osmanu Gandaa, a doorman at the Wheatsheaf pub in Borough Market, spoke about how he confronted terrorists and directed people to safety during the London attack.
Osmanu said: "Me and my colleague…directed everybody round the corner as far away as possible."
Osmanu continued: "Within a few seconds I was right in front of them and the only thing I could think of doing was picking up stuff and just throwing anything we could."
Thinking about what made him decide to confront the attackers, the doorman said: "When I initially ran away I was just thinking about the girl on the floor...there was no way I could leave her, I couldn't do that."
