A man found guilty of fraud is told by Judge Lord Stewart that he is "an outright liar", who took advantage of vulnerable individuals, after what is believed to be the UK's longest running criminal trial.
Edwin McLaren was sentenced to 11 years for property fraud worth 拢1.6m.
His wife, Lorraine McLaren, was jailed for two and a half years after she was convicted of being involved to a lesser extent.
