Aircraft carrier prepares to set sail
The Royal Navy's new aircraft carrier has been preparing to leave its dock at Rosyth for the first time.
HMS Queen Elizabeth cost £3bn, weighs 65,000 tonnes and measures 280m by 75m.
The ship will begin sea trials before commencing service.
Captain Jerry Kyd told the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ "it's not just a ship but a sea base" that will serve as a flexible, powerful asset that can be used in a range of missions.
