The Blue Moon was only open for two years. But in that short time - it was the first UK club to host Jimi Hendrix. It also held gigs featuring such great names as Rod Stewart, Elton John, The Who, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Fleetwood Mac, The Move, The Small Faces and many many more.
