The West African band that refused to change their style
Vincent Ahehehinnou is the lead singer of Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou. The funk band was formed in the late 1960s and went on to play alongside the likes of Nigeria's Fela Kuti. They went into hiatus in the 1980s, but a resurgence in interest in their music in recent years led the band to reform and tour Europe for the first time.
