Ascot's Julia Bell became known as the DNA Detective after her search for her long lost grandfather hit the headlines. She told 蜜芽传媒 Radio Berkshire's Anne Diamond the incredible story...

Julia Bell, DNA Detective:

"There was a description... I thought eurika. My grandmother had written this and put it on the adoption file, so we now had this information and it send me off to a decade of filling filing cabinets.

"I wrote to the National Personnel Record Service in Missouri, and I had to do everything through snail mail.

"I do think at some bar at the pearly gates we might have Arthur Garrett and his other GI pals up there."
