Phone security: 'Industry needs government push'
An independent advisor on crime says the mobile phone industry needs to be compelled by law to make handsets less attractive to thieves.
Tom Gash, author of Criminal: The Truth About Why People Do Bad Things, tells Radio 4's PM programme
that "the industry will take some action itself but it won't do much without a very strong push from government, from insurers and from consumers themselves".
