A mental health prison worker has told 5 live how there is an 鈥渦ncontrollable鈥� amount of drugs going around prison. It comes as the Chief Inspector of prisons in England and Wales says a tragedy is inevitable because prisons are so unsafe.

The mental health nurse, who wishes to remain anonymous, told 5 live鈥檚 Anna Foster 鈥渢he cuts that have been made to the prison service are having a massive effect on everybody.鈥�

He also says the first priority is to 鈥済et the mobile phones out of the system鈥� to combat drugs being ordered into prisons.
