Tech giant releases millions of non-biting mosquitoes
Raised by robots to carry bacteria, the bugs will decimate disease-carrying mosquitoes in California. Biotech experts are trialling this biological warfare in an effort to prevent the spread of mosquito-born diseases like yellow fever, malaria, dengue, Zika that cause 800,000 human deaths a year.
