Sam is struggling with his course application so Sally suggests they do a mind map to help him plan and organise what he wants to write. Sam has drafted his application letter. He hasn鈥檛 used paragraphs so he and Sally work through the letter identifying the best places where the paragraphs should go. The deadline for the design course application is approaching, so Sam and Sally proofread it before sending. They use the spell checker, but also check themselves for other misspellings the spell checker will miss. They also check punctuation and grammar.
