Photographer reflects on Bristol's graffiti heritage
For many years Bristol has enjoyed the reputation as Britain’s number 1 city for graffiti and street art, and this Friday night, the eve of Upfest 2017, we’ve got a special programme on the subject. Presenter Miquita Oliver investigates the debate between creativity and criminality – why is Banksy’s work protected when other graffiti artists are being prosecuted and sometimes imprisoned for their work? Here, the legendary Bristol photographer Beezer takes us back to three key locations in the city’s graffiti story. “Vandals and Visionaries” is on ѿý One at 7:30 on Friday 28th July.
