Bledington - not as British as you might think
DNA analysis of villagers says they have family links to Greece, America, Asia & Africa.
Bledington might look like a typical Cotswold village...but it's actually a hotbed for diversity.The village was chosen for research as many residents considers themselves 100 percent British - but the average was only 42% British!
The ancestry DNA's research is the first of its kind in the UK - and took saliva from 120 villagers. It revealed people had genetic heritage spanning 18 locations - from Greece, America, Asia, to Africa.
