David Walliams, author of the best-selling children's book, Gangsta Granny (now on the West End stage), told Danny Baker that showbiz guru Simon Cowell once offered him an idea for a book. Walliams, of Little Britain, and Britain's Got Talent fame, also spoke about the competitive nature of writing children's books and the satisfaction he gets from meeting the children who've read his books.
