What does protest sound like where you are?
In cities around the world, the sounds of raised voices, chanting, singing, the banging of pots and pans and police sirens have become commonplace, perhaps even predictable at certain times. Stuart Fowkes is behind "Protest and Politics", an interactive sound map that collates audio from protests and political activism from across the world. He told James Menendez more about the project.
