London World Athletics Championships boss Ed Warner says the Birmingham and Liverpool 2022 Commonwealth Games bids should use the London Stadium for athletics. In this ‘age of austerity’, he’s argued using the existing athletics track would save millions of pounds, as well as providing a ‘knock-out’ bid. Warner was speaking to Garry Richardson on the 5 live Sportsweek show.
