How a care home is preparing to welcome toddlers
In London, in what’s thought to be a first in the U.K., a children’s nursery will share a site with an old people’s care home. The children and adults won’t be together all the time, but they will share some activities. A documentary on Channel 4 recently showed how that might work in practise. The documentary was called Old People's ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ for 4 Year Olds. Winifred Robinson talks to the Professor of Gerontology at the University of Bath, Professor Malcolm Johnson.
First broadcast on You & Yours, 14 August 2017.
