An eye witness has described the moment a van crashed into a crowd in the Ramblas tourist area in the centre of Barcelona.

Police are treating it as a terror attack as many people are said to have been injured in what's being described as a "massive crash".

Eyewitness Tom Gwella told PM presenter Carolyn Quinn that he heard screams and a crash and "saw the crowd parting and this van going full pelt down the middle of Las Ramblas... it wasn't slowing down at all."
