Rescued pigs turned into sausages for firemen
In February a fire at a farm near Pewsey was extinguished by the fire service, saving 18 pigs and two sows.
The farmer has since gifted sausages from the same pigs to the men who had rescued them
She said: "I wanted to thank them. I promised them at the time when they actually go I'll bring down some sausages for you which they were all pleased about."
"We farm and that's what we do. We give them as best a life as they possibly can have. They have freedom and fields to run around in and you can't keep keep them as pets. I'm sure the vegetarians will hate it."
Since the fire the farm is back to normal.
