Wright: 'England players are playing for themselves'
Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright believes some of the England players are too self-centred.
Despite winning both of their recent World Cup qualifying matches against Malta and Slovakia, the team have been criticised for their performances.
Wright said: “I don’t think we’ve moved on a million miles from Iceland.”
The former footballer cited their lack of cohesion as being behind some stuttering performances since Euro 2016.
