We may have reached ‘peak smartphone’ – worldwide sales of smartphones have plateaued, and in the U.K. they’ve declined. When Dixons Carphone issued an unexpected profits warning last month the company cited our growing reluctance to upgrade our phones. So what is behind the loss of interest?
