Phil Neville discusses why footballers shave their legs, especially on the continent. This comes after Marcos Asensio missed Real Madrid's most recent match because of an infection that developed after shaving left him with a pimple on his leg.

"99% of people in Spain shave their legs, shave their chest, shave their arms, shave every part of their body so I'm part of the 99% in Spain." Said Neville

The former Valencia assistant manger later explained that shaving is beneficial because professional players go for regular massages, adding: "When I go for a massage and I have hairy legs I come out in rashes and I get infections in my legs and I can't pull my socks up then and I can't play football."
