Former Manchester United power coach has told 5 live that Rio Ferdinand used to box in his football days and can "pack a punch".

Mick Clegg told 5 live Breakfast鈥檚 Rachel Burden that Rio had a 鈥渇antastic jab鈥� when he boxed with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Roy Keane as part of the club鈥檚 fitness training regime.

However Clegg believes Rio鈥檚 lack of experience in the ring will show when he attempts to turn professional: 鈥淭he problem for Rio is his body has not adapted as yet to taking shots鈥�.
