Classical music for the uninitiated
Classical music has a reputation for being difficult to understand and inaccessible to the uninitiated. But the presenter and violinist Clemency Burton-Hill argues that this doesn’t have to be so.

The book presents 366 works from the medieval era to the present day – one piece to listen to for every day of the year. Her choice this month is a movement from the liturgy St. John Chrysostom by Rachmaninov – We Hymn Thee.
