Ofgem won't speculate on energy cap timing
The chief executive of Ofgem has said he won't speculate on how long it will take the government to introduce its new energy cap.
Dermot Nolan said protection will be extended to those customers on the worst deals by Christmas but that it was up to parliament on the speed at which they introduce the cap.
