From couriers and ride-hailing drivers to video producers, the so-called "gig" economy is growing. In these jobs, instead of a regular wage, workers get paid for the individual tasks they do, such as a food delivery or a car journey. For some it's flexible part-time work, for others it's a recipe for insecurity and exploitation. So what impact is it having on the labour market?
