Dame Davies: Antibiotic resistance very 'risky'
The chief medical officer for England has said at least 25,000 people a year in Europe are dying due to drug resistant infections.
She added, "without antibiotics, routine operations will be risky if the bugs are resistant".
She wants to encourage the production of new antibiotics.
