Acid attack victim: Attackers should get life in prison
A woman who lost her ear and was left with scarring to her head, face and neck after an acid attack in 2014 has said the punishment for such offences should be life in prison.
Adele Bellis was attacked as she waited for a bus by a man who had been paid £500 by her ex-boyfriend to carry out the attack.
Adele told 5 live Breakfast: "There's no consistency in the acid attack sentences...there should be a separate acid attack charge and believe there should be a life sentence."
"Psychologically is messes with me that I will always need counselling...it's always going to be with me."
