‘Leicester sacked Shakespeare too soon’ - Schwarzer
Former Leicester City goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer believes the Foxes have parted company with manager Craig Shakespeare “a little bit too soon”.
Shakespeare has been sacked just four months after he signed a three-year deal to take the job on a permanent basis.
The 2016 Premier League champions are third from bottom in the table and have not won any of their past six league matches.
Schwarzer, who worked alongside Shakespeare during Leicester’s title-winning campaign, says there were signs the 53-year-old was not far away from turning the team’s fortunes around.
