Former Leicester City goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer believes the Foxes have parted company with manager Craig Shakespeare 鈥渁 little bit too soon鈥�.

Shakespeare has been sacked just four months after he signed a three-year deal to take the job on a permanent basis.

The 2016 Premier League champions are third from bottom in the table and have not won any of their past six league matches.

Schwarzer, who worked alongside Shakespeare during Leicester鈥檚 title-winning campaign, says there were signs the 53-year-old was not far away from turning the team鈥檚 fortunes around.
