The founder of collapsed charity Kids Company claims that it was 'dismantled by a Government conspiracy'.

Camila Batmanghelidjh denied allegations of financial mismanagement and defended the charity's controversial practice to give some children cash, which critics say could have been spent on drugs.

A government spokesman said that because of ongoing investigations by both the Charity Commission and the Official Receiver, it would be inappropriate to comment on Ms Batmanghelidjh's claims.
