The 18-year-old Venezuelan hit the headlines after Fifa nominated her for its Best Women's Player Award.
She does not play in a professional league and is yet to feature in an international tournament at senior level, or under-20. Yet she was nominated, alongside Lieke Martens of the Netherlands and American Carli Lloyd, as one of the planet's best female footballers in 2017.
