What film memorabilia could you afford?
For some people, watching their favourite film just isn’t enough – they have to own a part of it. Prize pieces of film memorabilia can fetch millions of pounds. In 2011 a dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in the Seven Year Itch sold for nearly £4 million. Is this kind of collection just a hobby for the rich, or is it easily affordable for anyone to buy a piece of the action? Elizabeth Hotson went to find out what a more modest budget can buy.
