London Irish: Kennedy accepts Saracens superiority
Exiles' Director of Rugby Nick Kennedy knows his side were second best overall.
London Irish lost 44-13 to Saracens to condemn them to a sixth successive Premiership defeat.
"When you come and play at one of the best teams in Europe, it's always going to be very tough," Kennedy told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Adam Williams.
"You have to ride a bit of luck and make sure you don't make any mistakes and we did that for the best part of 50 minutes.
"Our discipline let us down and the sin-binning (of lock Teofilo Paulo near half-time) was very costly. But, we were still in the game after that.
"But then Saracens showed their class and that they really are ahead of us in their journey as a team that's been together for a very long time.
"They really turned it on when they needed to as the game got close."
