Whoever made decision to sell Matic needs sacking - Neville
Former England international Philip Neville says the decision to sell Nemanja Matic is “the poorest decision I've seen in the Premier League” and has called for the culprit at Stamford Bridge to be sacked.
“When you’ve got Matic sat in front of you with Kanté, you have the best two central midfield players in the Premier League by a country mile,” said the former Premier League winner.
Serb Matic joined Neville’s old club Manchester United, who are currently four points better off than last year’s champions.
“I wouldn’t have let him out the building. I’d have chained him to the training ground door and said you’re not going anywhere,” he said.
