Productivity won't return to 'pre-crisis levels'
The deputy governor of the Bank of England has said that productivity rates in the UK are not expected to return to pre-crisis levels.
Ben Broadbent said they do expect some recovery but that it would be slower than before the crisis. Mr Broadbent also defended the rise in interest rates.
