Celebrating 50 years of local radio
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester was launched on the 8 November 1967. 50 years on and there are hundreds of local radio stations broadcasting to their local communities up and down the country. We hear the first ever broadcast from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester and Jeremy speaks to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Coventry & Warwickshire presenter Trish Adudu about why local radio is so important.
